Substance Use Education | Youth Focus Group

We’re keeping the conversation going on this important topic!

The Indigenous community experiences high rates of overdose, youth cannabis, and commercial tobacco use - and we want to change that.

Our goal is to educate and provide protective factors to our sacred youth on healthy coping through cultural activities and culturally relevant educational resources. ❤️🌿

If you are a youth member interested in taking part in a youth focus group alongside the Tahoma Indian Center to gain education and coping skills around cannabis, vaping, commercial tobacco, alcohol, drugs use, we'd love to hear from you.

*Parent/guardian permission is required.

Our 2nd focus group will take place:

Date: Friday, December 5th

Time: 5:15pm - 7:30pm.

Location: Amara, 3501 104th St. E., Tacoma, WA 98446

Ages: 7-17 (Gift card provided!)

Dinner provided.
